Campus Involvement

Campus Involvement

The Delta Omicron sisters are involved all over the Gettysburg campus.  Besides our own philanthropy events, we participate in the philanthropies of our fellow campus Greeks. In the fall, we have sisters compete in Chi Omega's Chi O Night Live and Delta Gamma's Anchor Splash and in the spring, sisters participate in Alpha Delta Pi's Airbands, Gamma Phi Beta's Moonball, and Sigma Chi's Derby Days.

In addition to Greek life, many of our sisters hold leadership positions in other clubs and activities. Sisters are members of Dance Ensemble, Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, campus radio, CHEERS, the American Association of University Women, and various sports teams.  We also have sisters who act in the theater, play for the orchestra, and sing in the choir.

Community service is another important aspect for our sisters as we enjoy helping around the Gettysburg campus and community. We try to give back to the community in as many ways as possible. For example, sisters tutor migrant elementary students, mentor middle schoolers, serve with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and volunteer in the local domestic violence shelter and Campus Kitchen.

The Delta Omicron sisters are active in all aspects of campus life and make it a point to remain involved in our community.
